Dr. Emily Williams has 30 years of expertise with 10 in government as a grants director/program coordinator and 20 in academia. Williams is an exemplary performer with extensive experience as a grants director, provost/vice president/academic affairs, vice provost/assessment and curriculum, academic dean, department chair, and conference director.
A Fulbright Scholar (CIES), Dr. Williams holds a Ph.D./D.A.H from Clark Atlanta University, Master of Arts in Linguistics & Literature from Virginia Commonwealth University, Certification in Higher Education Management and Leadership from Harvard University, and Certification in Design Thinking from The University of Virginia.
Her expertise extends beyond the academic, governmental, and nonprofit landscapes in her continued service as a board and committee member with organizations as varied as community health boards, international accreditation organizations, and community cultural organizations. She has served as a member of national grants review panels, chaired university accreditation site reviews/visits, and written successfully funded proposals securing millions of dollars for educational institutions and nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Williams provides a team of experts for various aspects of the consultation services. Her team includes experts in data analysis, curriculum design, strategic planning, organizational restructuring, grant writing, and community/government relations.
